Families are invited to come together to do simple, hands-on service projects, reflect on the importance of giving back, and learn about opportunities to get involved in their community and around the world.
There will be a variety of “serving stations” with a fun, kid friendly service activity for families to complete. Service projects include:
Making Sandwiches for the homeless
Tying fleece blankets for the Children’s Hospital and homeless youth
Decorating Thank You cards for our military service men and women
Assembling Senior Care Packages for the residence Bridgewater in Hanover
Packing Birthday Bags for CROSS Food Shelf
Sewing Care Quilts for the Wright County Sheriff’s Department
Making Gratitude Jars for your family
And much more…
EVERYONE is welcome to enjoy lunch for a free will offering provided by the Summer Experience Youth that are fundraising for their mission trips this summer. You do not need to stay for the service projects, if you limited on time. Our youth greatly appreciate your support!
