Get to Know Alleluia!

We are a young, vibrant congregation that has been worshipping in the St. Michael community since 1998. Currently we worship in the beautiful Historic Church of St. Michael, with offices in the Colonial Mall.

Worship services are primarily contemporary music, but include Lutheran liturgy, as well as some more traditional hymns on occasion. Holy Communion is celebrated at every worship service as we come together to be fed so we can be strengthened for our work in the world. The atmosphere is casual – feel free to come as you are.

Sunday School is held at the same time as worship from September – May. At Alleluia, however, we feel that children worshiping with their parents is incredibly important. So, children start out in worship with their families, then leave after the Children's Message to hear the story in an age-appropriate way as the adults hear a message geared toward them. Children return to worship by leading the congregation in giving their offering. Children hear the story in a way that is meaningful for them, but still spend most of their time in worship with the families -- which is the best way for children to learn about God's love for them and to grow in their faith.

Serving others is an integral part of who we are – and it starts young. Sunday School children, Confirmation students, teens and adults all have many opportunities to serve in the church, community, and the world.

So, check out all the opportunities to be involved in God’s work in the world through the ministries of Alleluia! And don’t hesitate to call or e-mail with any questions.
